A letter from June 21st, 2020

Dear Future Marissa, today is June 21, 2020 When you get this Letter you turned 20 not too long ago. rough dude, but almost 21 so it's fine; you probably already had a panic attack about it. If all goes according to plan you will be in Springfield right now, still at Starbucks. You will have an associate's degree and either one semester into your bachelor's or about to start in August, depending on if you take a semester off. If you have started at a University, that means you decided to either go to MSU or through ASU.I hope you have an internship or are looking for one soon because it will help us in the long run! right now I'm not even finished with community college so wherever you are right now is better than where you were a year ago today. Again, if all goes according to plan you are getting a degree in the social media realm. unless you changed your major...again; which i really hope you didn't because I'm really excited about this one. Living in Springfield hopefully is as nice as I'm hoping it to be. Not with sumer and Alex anymore, actually on your own, with trinity lol. I hope that you are working out more and have lost some weight and love yourself just a bit more. The world is kind of a **** show right now so you might not even be alive to read this. presidential elections are in 5mo and we hope that trump doesn't get re-elected or start ww3. but I guess you only know that. The BLM protests are going on right now also corona is still vibing with no cure. So I hope that summer 2021 is what summer 2020 aspired to be, full of concerts, festivals, and positive vibes. as of your love life, I swear to god if you even talked to cole one more time since now, just go off yourself. I hope you found a cute, skinny, curly-haired boy that treats you highly since you moved but if you didn't that's okay you have high standards, we don't commit anyway here. (have you talked to your parents? call them, tell them you love them. do you still talk to Katie? I hope you do, snap her!) Right now, my plans in five years are to move to a city, preferably where I don't have to drive. Currently, I'm hoping to rent a room in NY and live our best life and ~simply vibe~ and work somewhere managing social media. hopefully, these plans haven't changed too much but if they did that's okay.
