Dear Future Me,
Today was my last day of grade 10. It wasn't at all what I expected it to be since everything is online but it's still a relief to be finished. I wish i could have had that last week of school before summer feeling but the world is messed up right now so that wasn't going to happen. Anyway, I'm sending this letter to the day I finish grade 11 so if you're reading this, holy **** time travels so fast. Did you get to go back to school (the new one) at some point? Did you get that last week feeling? I can remember the first day of grade 10 quite clearly and it is so bizarre that we're done. I'm taking Chemistry over the summer to lighten my academic courses in grade 11 but I'll still be busy. I mean, you made it, hopefully with decent grades and at least a bit of mental stability. I am so worried for these next two years because they actually count but finished grade 11 so all you have left to do is your senior year. You are probably a different person than i am now but i'm still going to tell you to have fun this summer. I don't know if there's a vaccine yet or if you still have to be cautious but be spontaneous. Pierce your belly button (if you haven't already), Dye your hair, Go to that party. I'll sign off but i think it's crazy that you are reading this having FINISHED grade 11 and man oh man am i (grade 10 Maddy who is already stressed about schoolwork) proud of you.
Bye for now,
Maddy
Epilogue
over 1 year laterWell, I graduated high school and moved across the country to attend university. School never gets easier, but it definitely gets more interesting. You didn't end up going into science...
