Dear FutureMe, Hii, its mee your younger slightly depressed self. In a years time, I should be almost done with the graduate position and I can imagine it has been difficult. No matter how you feel at the end of this, remember that you worked extremely hard just to get this opportunity. Don't ever take any of it for granted because we both know how much I cried when I got the call for the job. I have been in a real funk lately because what I anticipated these past six months to be like has not been anywhere close to what it actually has been. Coronavirus is rampant at the moment and I'm about to be working in one of the most impacted hospitals in the state. I realise now all the things that I took for granted the last 3 years were a blessing. I said that once this is all over that I won't make excuses for what makes me happy. Go on that holiday you have been wanting to go on. Soak in every single moment because you don't know when you will be able to do it again. Tell J you love him because I know he will be supporting you all the way. You got this!
