A letter from March 21st, 2019

Dear FutureMe, I have just randomly been onto my emails and found my futureme message from January 2018, and it’s crazy how much things have changed since I wrote that email. At the end I told myself to write one for 17 year old Jasmine in 2020 - so that is exactly what I’m doing. So, how are you? How’s mum? How’s charley? Jordan, daddy, nanny, Dave? I feel like I have so much to say but so little motivation to type it all hahah, I should have probably chosen a better time to write this when I was feeling more up for it. I’m just going to go through my day today and let’s recap your memory, see if you can remember it (which, of course, you won’t be able to seeing as your memory is SHITE.) So today I woke up (obvs) and was late to school (as usual) but then whilst I was waking to school I bumped into Tyler which was a coincidence but a good one at that. And so we walked into school together which was nice and very cute. Then I had chemistry where I revised maths and Mr Shellard now absolutely loves me after I did so well in the CAT test so I mean yeah that was nice. And then I had maths where I basically gave up on all of my hopes and dreams when I realised how shit I am at it hahaha. Then I went to break with Sophie where we just complained about maths all day before going into the hall to do my maths mock. It went horrendously. I hope you did foundation for the real thing and I sincerely hope that you passed because right now I am very much struggling hahaha. (So if you did pass Jasmine I am very proud of you and even if you didn’t pass every subject Im still proud because it isn’t the end of the world and you still got through it). Blake came into the hall late and at the end of the exam explained that he didn’t hold the door open for Montiseah so Monty punched him in the face and then Blake beat him up which resulted in him breaking his hand. I find it a tad weird because I cannot imagine Monty punching anyone so it just seems a bit fishy. Then I went to lunch with Kaiya and she spilt her food everywhere which was so so funny hahahah and then Sophie came out of her exam late from having extra time and we went to a room and talked about Matt (Kaiya’s mans) for a bit. Then instead of big picture I went into the music block toilets where I proceeded to stand at the door and talk to Tyler for the whole hour. Tyler and I then went back to mine and watched YouTube before doing the deed, just the usual. My mum had a deep chat with me about how I can’t isolate myself and I have to make time for other things other than just seeing Tyler 24/7 and it got me feeling quite emotional and Tyler is upset about it which is why I’m not really in the best of moods or feeling the most motivated right now but hey ho life really isn’t too bad right now, I seriously can’t be complaining. I have my English literature mock tomorrow and I don’t know anything about R&J or J&H, I SERIOUSLY hope that you learnt more for the actual thing, Jasmino. Like seriously. Stuff that’s big right now hmmm, Felicite Tomlinson just recently passed away last week, which was incredible sad to say the least. A new Madeleine McCann documentary came out on Netflix last week which a lot of people have been talking about. Michael Jackson being a nonce, I watched the documentary last week, it’s so heartbreaking. Shane and Ryland got engaged yesterday! Ethan and Hila haven’t yet had their baby, I hope it’s cute! It’s almost 1am now and I literally have my exam at 9am so I should really get going as soon as possible but writing this is actually so weirdly intriguing in a way, like I’m seriously hooked. By the way don’t get annoyed at my improper use of punctuation right now I just seriously do not have the energy hahaha. I hope you and Tyler are well, if you’re with Tyler right now or even if you’re not tell him I say that I, on the 21st of March 2019, love him VERY VERY much. He’s the best thing that has every happened to me and he brings me so much happiness. I have never been so close to another person in my life, I am seriously in love. I am WHIPPED ahahahah. Right, bye Jasmine, I hope sixth form is going well. Keep working hard and make sure you’re making time for family still because they are the most important people in your life.
