Dear FutureMe,
CONGRATULATIONS YOU'RE FINALLY A BLACK BELT IN TAEKWONDO!
Well, the test was last weekend, but now that I've had a week to mull on it I can't believe how proud I am. It's been so long since I set out to get my black belt in like 2016. It was so cathartic to have everything culminate in my official black belt. It's a little short since it was made like 3 years ago when I was much smaller, but it still means the same thing nonetheless.
Hopefully, by this time, you're either a second-degree black belt or are about to test for it! If you haven't already tested, good luck - you got this. If you already got the belt - CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!
If you've stopped doing taekwondo again for some reason. Get up and go back to Taekwon Kids right now. In the past two ish months I've been back at Taekwondo I've already made so many new close friends and become so much more physically and mentally fit. I really hope you never stop doing taekwondo for a dumb reason again.
