Dude you can do it. You've taken classes before when you were in a depressive episode. Remember when you wanted to quit boxing class and restaurant management? You continued to show up despite what you were struggling with internally and I'm proud of you, Blue❣️🫂💙
Maybe this time, things will turn out better than expected. Don't force yourself to talk more if you don't feel like it. JUST SHOW UP.
Just show up. You don't remember what other classmates wore or looked like from before. You don't remember who you were walking pass or next to on campus. Everyone is focused on themselves. You just be you. No need to prove yourself or impress anyone.
You didn't make friends in every single class you've had before college, so don't force that pressure to make friends now. Go with the flow, whatever is meant to be will happen. Not all friendships are meant to last anyways. Some people just come and go.
Remember, not everyone has to like you. You don't like everyone, so don't put that expectation on everyone else. Not everyone is your friend, so be wary and don't share too much about yourself. Safety is number 1 priority. You aren't everyone else's friend either, so don't be too friendly and generous with everyone else or else you would be taken advantage of.
You've done this before and I'm 1000% sure you will be able to make it through these classes and field trips!! It's way shorter than the 5 months you spent on boxing, cooking, and restaurant management. I'm surprised you even finished them. I remember you contemplating whether or not to drop out of those classes and whether you should buy the cooking supplies and uniform or not. 😅🤣 I'm glad those days are over.
Just know I got your back. I understand your situation and where you're coming from. Continue to show up. I accept you already, so continue to let go of the need to be accepted by others. There were plenty of classes back then when I had to start from zero, where I knew I didn't have friends. Some got you to talk to new people, meet some classmates. Whatever it is, I just know you got this❣️
